Having spent the last 26 years in the sign business, John Heier has proven himself to be a focused, experienced professional.  Heier’s diverse knowledge of the industry has been cultivated over the years through his wide variety of roles with three different signage companies.

Starting back in 1981 with Wahls Signs, Heier began as a screen printer for this San Diego-based signage company.  In 1993, Wahls was taken over by Allup, and Heier took on increased responsibilities within the art, production, sales and marketing departments.  Champion Signs merged with Allup in 2002, and since that merger, Heier’s vast experience made him an indispensable employee within the company.  He was soon handling the art and production departments, and playing a major role in sales/marketing and purchasing.

Heier was promoted to general manager in 2007, where he works through the management team to ensure superior service and quality products to meet the signage needs of the company’s diverse residential and commercial customer base.  In addition, he supervises the production and design teams, and manages the customer service, sign installation and sales divisions.  Since serving as general manager, Champion Signs has experienced phenomenal growth and is now a major player within the Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino markets.

Heier is originally from San Diego and has been married to his wife, Debbie for 25 years.  They have five children together and enjoy camping and hiking whenever they find a free moment.
